About me and my therapy practice

I am a Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¾«×¼×ÊÁÏ Accredited integrative therapist with 16 years experience. I have worked with a wide range of issues in counselling organisations, schools and financial organisations with adults and children.  I specialise in ADHD and I work with clients on the Autistic spectrum.

My aim in counselling is to give you the opportunity to feel understood and heard and offer you a safe therapeutic space to help you navigate the complexities and challenges of life.

I also work with loss, overwhelm, stress, depression, anxiety, OCD and relationship issues, I aim to help you discover your inner strength , wisdom, develop more self awareness, live more mindfully, build self compassion, develop greater coping skills for transformation and healing.

I recognise the need to facilitate the process of helping my clients repair damage caused by current and earlier experiences and my aim is to offer conditions to help them love and believe in themselves to achieve acceptance and autonomy.

In personal therapy, I am able to work with a number of psychological approaches tailor made to suit you and your needs. I offer boundaries of space and time, the qualities of a holding environment.  The emphasis on regular and continuous sessions helps my client feel safe which may be in contrast to their normal rules of social interaction and experience with relationships through their life.

Practice description

I work with adults and young people over 16.

I work online, face to face and, telephone and I also offer walking therapy.

Sessions are for 50 minutes weekly, usually on the same day and time, although I am flexible if your work/life pattern doesn't allow this.

I offer regular reviews where we will discuss how our sessions are going, this will also be an opportunity to revisit your goals in therapy and check progress.

My first session

I offer a free 20 minute introductory call where we can discuss your reasons for seeking support , ask any questions you may have and it's an opportunity for us to familiarise ourselves with each other.

Following this, if you are happy to proceed to the next step, we will arrange our first therapy session, where I will gather background information about your personal history, current situation and how the issues are affecting your life now and in the past, it will also give us a chance to learn more about each other and I will share ideas on how I can offer you support by sharing insights from my theoretic approach.

Finally we will explore a working agreement and discuss your objectives for therapy.
