About me and my therapy practice
Welcome. Often couples and individuals come into counselling to exploring a particular difficulty or to make a specific change in their lives, this can result in feelings of anxiety, stress, and uncertainty. I offer an empathic, supportive, and accepting space. Working with adults, young people and couples I offer short-term and on-going support. My aim is to provide an inclusive space for all.
I work with difficulties such as anxiety, trauma including PTSD, relationship problems, bullying, anger and menopause. I also offer bereavement support including pregnancy and baby loss. Please feel able to contact me to discuss other area's of support that I offer.
As an integral therapist, I use a range of therapeutic approaches to facilitate the work to meet the needs of the individual or couple.
As well as working in private practice I have worked as a counsellor for over 17 years alongside organisations such as Mind, Victim Support, Women’s Aid, Bereavement services and private health companies. I also provide clinical supervision for counsellors and other professionals.
As a qualified member of the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¾«×¼×ÊÁÏ (Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¾«×¼×ÊÁÏ), attending regular continued professional development is important to me and I keep myself updated with new theories and changes within the field. I follow Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¾«×¼×ÊÁÏ's ethical framework for working with clients and attend regular clinical supervision.
If you feel you would like to talk with me about seeking support, I offer a free initial 20 minute telephone consultation.
