About me and my therapy practice

I am a qualified, Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¾«×¼×ÊÁÏ Accredited & Registered Psychodynamic counsellor. I have over 15 years of experience gained from working in various clinical counselling settings such as NHS charities, private practices, and higher education. I work as a College Counsellor for the University of Cambridge. I am also a member of BICA (British Infertility Counselling Association).

Sometimes it can be difficult to know where to begin, or how to express what we are experiencing in life - this does not have to be done alone. Together, we can explore, gain insight and clarity, and overcome obstacles by looking at ways to move forward in a confidential, non-judgemental, and safe therapeutic environment.

Practice description

I have worked extensively with issues related to stress, anxiety,  low mood, depression, panic attacks, low self-esteem, sleep problems, relationship problems/issues, trauma - physical and emotional, loss - which could be death of a loved one, loss of a relationship ending, friendship, identity, loss in a career through illness or redundancy, divorce and separation.

I have a special interest working with relationships and the dynamics and conflicts of relationships - whether it's a romantic relationship, friendship, parents, siblings, colleagues or any other. I can help you to explore these issues of conflict and look at patterns of how you relate to others to help you gain a deeper understanding of them.

Over the years, in my experience, building and maintaining a respectful, committed therapeutic relationship has proved to be a central part of the counselling work.

Small changes in life can make a path for bigger positive things to happen.

I offer Couples Counselling to help provide a space to build trust, work through issues and rebuild and improve communication. Also to work through your differences, identify and resolve conflict, strengthen your relationship whether it's working to stay together or working through separation and divorce. I can help provide a space to reflect, resolve and build understanding for each other.

Couples therapy is not just for romantic partners. It can benefit any two individuals, like family members, friends, or colleagues, by improving communication and resolving conflict.
