About me and my therapy practice

I provide counselling and psychotherapy in a comfortable, confidential and non-judgemental environment to explore life’s difficulties and challenges. I offer an experienced listening ear and a supportive approach.

Life has it's ups and downs and I believe that there is no shame in saying that you need help with emotional difficulties. I've had to overcome life crises of my own and these experiences help me to empathise with other people’s struggles.

I work with individuals on an open-ended basis as a psychotherapist or for an agreed time period as a counsellor, with the aim of enabling you to enhance your life and to live it more fully. By looking at our unconscious thoughts, dreams and behaviour, we can gradually develop insight and stop repeating the things that hold us back from being all we can be.

I also work with private healthcare insurance companies including BUPA, AXA and Aviva.

My Training and Qualifications

- Certificate in Clinical Supervision (CTSD, 2022)

- PhD Psychology (University of Northampton, 2022)

- Certificate in Online Counselling and Psychotherapy (Academy for Online Therapy, 2021)

- Certificate in Fundamentals of Counselling and Psychotherapy (CCPE, 2007)

- PG Certificate Integrative Psychotherapy & Counselling (CCPE, 2005)

- M.A. (Middlesex University, Essex, 1992)

Practice description

I am excited to offer Supervision as a reflective practice for individuals and groups, across different modalities. In use the Seven Eyed Model of supervision, which is focused on process and relationship and I really enjoy working in this way.

Supervision has always been the cornerstone of my practice – a source of support, comfort and insight. I have valued respect and trust in my own supervisory relationships and have found this has, in turn, improved my client relationships. For me, it is a very important place for open reflection. I would like to offer others the trust that I have received. Supervision has given me the permission to work from an authentic place.

I am very happy to have a chat about what you expect from Supervision, and how we might work together to support you and your clients.
