ABOUT ME
Hi, welcome, I am Lila,
You have come to the right place to talk in a safe and confidential space. I am a well-trained and experienced psychotherapist who deals with many issues that can cause worries, anxiety, depression, stress or existential angst.
I have been assisting people with these for more than 15 years. My background is diverse, international and multicultural, and I have been practising since 2006. I am a registered member of the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¾«×¼×ÊÁÏ (Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¾«×¼×ÊÁÏ), and I work with adult individuals, couples and families (parent/child (adult).
One of the areas I assist people with is RELATIONSHIPS, which includes working with interracial, multicultural and international people.
As human beings, we are bound by relationships, be it at work, personal, social or with the broader world. How are your relationships? Do you find it challenging at work, with families, friends, or with your partner?
It is often through relating with others that we gain more insights into ourselves as individuals, and whilst being in a relationship or marriage can be most satisfying, at times, it can also be quite devastating and challenging. Think betrayal of trust, jealousy, affairs, and emotional abuse from a loved one.
On the other hand, you might be pretty worried, lonely and frustrated not having found 'the one' yet, or you might struggle with committing to a relationship. Whatever you are going through, know that you are not alone, as help is within your reach.

My first session
YOUR FIRST SESSION WITH ME
Before starting your first session, you can have a free 15 -20 min. call or Zoom meeting with me to find out whether we are suited to each other.
If we agree to work together, we will plan the first session to start your therapy. We will then arrange to see each other regularly, mostly weekly or fortnightly, at the same time and day of the week (there is flexibility), either face to face (Central London) or through Zoom, or a combination (depending on where you live) or by phone.
Sessions start promptly. Missed or cancelled sessions will be charged at the normal rate unless it was communicated 48h beforehand. Confidentiality is a very important part of the work and is maintained throughout unless I fear you want to harm others or yourself (this will be explained fully once we meet).
Therapy is a space where you can take all your time to talk, think, feel and be without being judged and supported at the same time.

I provide online (Zoom/Skype/Teams) face-to-face and telephone sessions and work with adult individuals and couples.
I work Monday-Saturday - please let me know about available slots for daytime, evenings or Saturdays, as my schedule changes daily. For face-to-face sessions, one of the nearest tube stations is Oxford Circus.

I have been in the personal development industry for over a decade, initially through my counselling and psychotherapeutic work since 2006.
My experiences are versatile, multicultural and international, and I always feel honoured to assist others in their journey.
In short, Life coaching is about identifying, clarifying and achieving your set goals and becoming the best version of yourself, whilst therapy essentially deals with your mental health issues that cause worries, anxiety, depression or stress.
So life coaching and therapy are very different!
People come to coaching for various reasons. In most cases, even if your goals and dreams are clear, you might still find yourself in the dark and not achieving your desired results, being passive, procrastinating or not executing the right actions. You may not know why you feel stuck or are unproductive, and therefore reaching out is the first step in the right direction to your success.

Understanding the human psyche and growth is a big passion of mine, which resulted in various studies such as a Master's in intercultural Communication & Relationships, a BSc in Psychotherapy, a Certificate in Wellbeing Life Coaching, and a Certificate in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).
