About me and my therapy practice
I can offer Face to Face, Zoom or telephone counselling.
Practice description
I have over 15 years’ experience of working with individuals, couples and any relationship that is struggling to find a way forward, including siblings or any other family relationship. I am Relate and CRUSE trained. I have a flexible approach to sessions; brief intervention work - for short term problems, which can be a reaction to a life event. Longer term therapy - for difficulties you may have been struggling with over a longer period of time, or simply space to sit with the uncertainty that surrounds us at the moment.
I offer a confidential space for you to tell your story, not to be judged, but to be listened to empathetically.
My first session
Sessions are tailored to the needs of each client. The main focus of our first session will be to make sure you feel comfortable working with me, as I believe it is not a case of ‘one size fits all’. The quality of our relationship will have a beneficial influence on the effectiveness of our work together.

About me and my therapy practice
I offer supervision to practising and trainee counsellors who are seeking a supportive and reflective space. The basis of my counselling and supervision work is from an integrative relational stance and I work within a psychodynamic and systemic framework. I offer an enquiring, supportive and compassionate environment within which you can explore, develop and grow. I see supervision as joint practice being a collaborative and creative process that holds an in depth reflection of the work. I hold an Advanced Diploma (NCS Accredited) and my supervision work is informed by the work and theoretical model of Page & Wosket. Page & Woskett see supervision as an ongoing, negotiated and dynamic process which involves: 'a two-way flow in which both the supervisor and supervisee are responsive to each other's input... [ and as] a dynamic learning and development process in which both parties learn and develop together.' (2001, p40) I offer a welcoming, safe, and reflective space which encourages autonomy, responsibility and creativity in your client work. Together we will work in a way that encourages you to develop your strengths and discover your unique personal style. I offer 90 minute sessions at a cost of £90 per session (although length and timings is negotiable depending on need). I also have some sessions available at a reduced rate for students.
