About me and my therapy practice

As a compassionate and experienced Person-Centred Counsellor, I believe in the power of a collaborative, therapeutic relationship where your voice and experiences are at the heart of our work together. I offer a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your emotions, thoughts, and challenges with trust and openness.

My approach is tailored to your individual needs, ensuring that therapy meets you where you are and grows with you. I am trauma-informed, polyvagal-informed, and attachment-aware, which means I understand how trauma and stress affect the nervous system, and I aim to create an environment that helps you feel safe, connected, and supported throughout our sessions. Together, we will work towards deepening self-awareness and fostering the growth and healing that feels right for you.

Whether in-person or online, I provide a flexible, inclusive service that welcomes individuals from all walks of life, recognising and respecting the diversity of each client's experience.

Practice description

Throughout therapy, I see our relationship as a partnership where we work together to navigate your emotions, behaviours, and experiences. You are always in control of the pace, and my role is to walk alongside you, offering support, guidance, and a safe space for reflection. I believe that meaningful change happens when we collaborate with honesty and empathy, and my aim is to empower you to find your own answers, using the strengths you already have.

The Person-Centred Approach I use emphasises the importance of self-discovery and autonomy. It’s about helping you connect with your inner resources, promoting healing and growth from within. My practice is particularly informed by trauma and polyvagal theory, which helps us understand how the body responds to stress and how creating safety in therapy can lead to emotional regulation and lasting change.

Whether you are dealing with trauma, anxiety, identity concerns, or other personal challenges, I am here to support you with empathy, compassion, and a commitment to your wellbeing. Together, we will create a therapeutic space where you can explore, heal, and grow.

My first session

In our first session, we will focus on establishing a connection and creating a comfortable space where you feel heard and understood. This consultation is a chance to get to know each other and to explore how therapy might help you. We'll also cover any questions you may have about how the process works and discuss the possibility of ongoing sessions.
