For your convenience I work online. This enables the flexibility for you  to access my service from wherever you may be. My main working days are Mondays and Fridays but I am able to offer alternative days, after hours or weekends by arrangement. All you need to do is email me to set up a free 15 minute phone call. I will guide you through the rest of the process.

About me and my therapy practice

If you feel ready to make a change, we can work together towards you becoming a better version of yourself. As a mature individual, I have experience, not only as an integrative psychotherapeutic counsellor, but have an authentically lived understanding of the challenges we face throughout our lives. I work pluralistically which means that our time together will be specifically tailored to you. We will look holistically at your unique world from a calm, confidential, non-judgemental perspective. My aim will be to help you gain clarity, work on growth and assist you to find your way.

Practice description

I have extensive experience working with older children, adolescents and adults within a school and private setting. I offer a confidential, safe, supportive and non-judgemental space to enable you to explore difficult issues and promote your wellbeing. My approach is integrative which means I use three methods of therapy: Psychodynamic, Person Centred and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. Life can present a complex mixture of circumstances and emotions and a multi-faceted approach will ensure the potential to reach different needs.

My therapeutic work includes helping clients with stress, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, self-harm, eating disorders, relationship, sexuality and lgbtqi issues.

I am happy to answer any questions you may have either about my approach or how I would work with you in a safe and ethical manner. By reading this you have made the first difficult step to seek counselling. Your next step is to email me for us to set up a free 15 minute call (zoom or phone) for you to decide if I feel like the right therapist for you.

My first session

Following your free 15 minute phone call, if you decide to proceed I will email  you an initial consultation form to complete alongside my contract which outlines my ethical framework. We can then agree a mutually convenient time for your first session. Although in the first instance counselling is usually recommended once a week for six weeks, there is no expectation to block book sessions, you may take it one step at a time.
