I understand how important it is to find the right support at a time that works for you. Generally, I work Monday to Saturday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, but I know life doesn’t always stick to a 9-to-6 schedule. That’s why I’m happy to explore flexibility where I can to make sure our sessions fit around your needs.
My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and tailored to you. I believe in creating a safe, welcoming space where you can talk freely and feel truly heard. Together, we’ll work at a pace that feels comfortable for you, exploring the challenges you’re facing and moving toward positive change.
I want our time together to feel like a good fit for your routine and commitments. If you have any specific availability needs or would like to discuss how therapy can work best for you, we can have a chat and find a solution that works for you, your goals, and your life.
About me and my therapy practice
As a therapist, I am passionate about helping clients navigate their healing and self-discovery journeys. My work is grounded in compassion, empathy, and a deep belief in the potential for transformation. With lived experience of childhood trauma and addiction, I bring both professional expertise and a genuine understanding of the challenges my clients face.
I aim to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can feel truly heard, valued, and supported. Whether you’re struggling with the effects of trauma, addiction, relationship difficulties, or a sense of being stuck, I will meet you with warmth and respect for your unique experience.
My approach focuses on empowerment and transformation. Together, we’ll explore the tools, strengths, and insights that can help you heal from the past, build resilience, and move toward a more fulfilling life. I tailor my work to suit each individual, helping to develop coping strategies, set meaningful goals, and nurture clarity, confidence, and happiness.
If you’re ready to take the first steps toward positive change, I would be honoured to support you on your journey. Together, we can create a path forward that celebrates your story and empowers you to thrive.
Practice description
I deeply understand how overwhelming life’s challenges can feel and how transformative the journey toward healing can be.
In my practice, you’ll find a warm, non-judgmental space where you can feel truly seen and heard. I am here to support you as we explore the patterns, emotions, and experiences that may be holding you back. However complex or overwhelming it may feel, I will meet you with compassion, understanding, and respect for your unique story.
My approach is grounded in empowerment and transformation. I believe that you have the strength within you to create meaningful change, and my role is to help you uncover that strength. Together, we’ll work at your pace, using personalised techniques to heal from the past, build resilience, and develop strategies that support your well-being.
You can expect a collaborative and supportive partnership. We’ll focus on what matters most to you—whether that’s finding clarity, setting goals, or simply feeling less alone in your struggles. My ultimate aim is to help you move toward a life where you feel empowered, confident, and able to thrive.
My first session
Taking the first step toward therapy can feel daunting, and I want to reassure you that our first session is all about creating a safe, supportive space where you feel comfortable and at ease. This is a chance for us to get to know each other, explore what’s brought you here, and begin laying the foundation for the work we’ll do together.
During this session, we’ll take some time for a bit of practical groundwork. This might include some form filling and going over a simple contract that outlines how we’ll work together. This is designed to ensure clarity and to help you feel safe and informed about the therapeutic process.
We’ll also talk about what has brought you to therapy—whether it’s a specific issue you’re struggling with, a desire for change, or simply the need for a space to talk and reflect. I’ll ask questions to get a sense of your experiences, the challenges you’re facing, and the goals you’d like to work toward. There’s no rush, and no pressure—you can share as much or as little as you feel ready to.
Together, we’ll start to explore how you’d like therapy to work for you. This might involve discussing the kind of support you’re looking for, the changes you hope to make, and what you’d like to gain from our sessions. My goal is to make sure you feel heard, understood, and confident that this is a space where you can grow and heal at your own pace.
Our first session is just the beginning of a collaborative journey, tailored to your unique needs. If you have any questions or concerns, we’ll address them together so you feel fully supported every step of the way.
I look forward to meeting you and starting this process together.
