About me and my therapy practice

I’m a person-centred counsellor dedicated to providing a supportive and empathetic space where you can feel heard, valued, and understood. My approach is rooted in trust, respect, and collaboration, empowering you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace. Whether you're navigating personal challenges, seeking clarity, or simply wanting to understand yourself better, I offer a safe, non-judgmental environment to help you unlock your potential for growth and healing. Together, we can work towards greater self-awareness, confidence, and emotional well-being. Let’s take the first step towards positive change - your journey starts here.

Practice description

As a person-centred counsellor, my approach is based on the belief that you are the expert of your own life. I provide a warm, non-judgmental, and confidential space where you can feel safe to explore your thoughts and emotions. You are free to talk about anything that is important to you, without fear of judgment. My role is to support you in gaining deeper self-awareness and understanding.

Expect a collaborative process where we work together at your own pace. I will not tell you what to do, but instead, I will help you explore your feelings and thoughts meaning you find insights and solutions. The goal is to help you build self-acceptance, develop more effective ways of thinking and coping, and feel empowered to make positive changes in your life. Our work together is rooted in trust and respect, and I will be there to support you every step of the way as you discover your inner strength and navigate life’s challenges.

My first session

In our first session together, we’ll take the time to explore what brought you to therapy and what you hope to achieve. This initial meeting is an opportunity for you to share your story, and for me to understand your unique situation, needs, and goals. It’s important to know that there is no right or wrong way to begin and that we’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

Our sessions are 50 minutes long, and during the first session, I’ll also explain how we will work together and answer any questions you may have about the therapy process. You can expect a warm, welcoming, and confidential space where you are free to express yourself openly. By the end of our first session, we’ll have a clearer sense of how we can best work together to support your journey, and you’ll have a better understanding of how therapy can help you move forward.
