About me and my therapy practice

I help people who are having a difficult time and are seeking change.

Each person I work with carries their own deeply personal and unique reasons for wanting change. You might be managing anxiety or depression that are impacting your daily life, navigating difficult relationships, or feeling overwhelmed with the expectations placed on you from yourself or others. You may be managing challenging life transitions or events, or be carrying a deep sense of dissatisfaction with life but unable to fully articulate what is wrong. Whatever your unique reasons, I can help you find clarity and facilitate change within your life.

I offer time and space for you to pause, to step back, and reflect on what's really going on for you.

A place for your untold story to be heard.

I offer attentive therapeutic support that moves beyond surface level, quick fix solutions and strategies. I invite attention to the common themes that thread throughout your life and offer a place to examine what is happening beneath the surface to illuminate what is currently unknown.

Practice description

My approach is integrative, rooted in Person Centred Therapy, drawing upon Psychodynamic insights. It's informed by developmental and attachment theory and transactional analysis.

I work in person from The Therapy Rooms, Chippenham, online or via telephone.

I mostly work weekly with clients, on the same day and at the same time.

I offer both short and long term therapy.

Sessions are 50 mins and charged at £50, with payment due on the day.

My first session

Deciding to start therapy can be a big decision, and finding the right therapist for you is important. As such I am happy to arrange an initial, free, no obligation 20 min telephone call for you to find out a little more about how I work, and to ask any questions.

Initial assessment sessions are 50 mins and charged at the usual session fee. They are a further chance for you to find out how I work, and for me to understand more about you and what's bringing you to therapy at this time.
