About me and my therapy practice
Hi and welcome!
I’m Ona, an integrative counsellor and coach here to support you in navigating life’s challenges. If you are struggling with anxiety and depression and or juggling competing priorities; this can feel overwhelming, leaving you burnt out, anxious, or stuck. If it seems like everyone else has it all together while you’re barely holding on, or you’re carrying a weight that feels unmanageable, know that you’re not alone. Reaching out for help is a brave first step.
Therapy still carries a stigma that can make seeking support difficult. However, I believe that effective therapy can be a transformative process. It helps uncover hidden negative behaviours and maladaptive thinking that may have held you back and empowers you to create meaningful, lasting changes that align with the life you want to live.
Whatever has brought you here, this is a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space where we can work together to explore your experiences and needs. My approach is collaborative and compassionate, helping you process your emotions, understand yourself more deeply, and build resilience. Practice description
I currently work online and have recently started to offer outdoor therapy, weather permitting within the BR5 area. More information about this is available upon request.
My first session
To ensure we’re a good fit for working together, I offer a 20-minute telephone consultation. This gives us a chance to discuss your expectations of therapy, any previous experience, and your goals for counselling. We’ll also explore how I can best support you and consider how many sessions you may need initially and review the work undertaken on a regular basis.
