About me and my therapy practice

Hi there! I’m Madison.

If you’re reading this, you’ve already taken a courageous first step in seeking support, and that takes real strength and bravery. Whether you’re facing a difficult time or simply curious to learn more about yourself, I’m here to walk alongside you each step of the way.

During my education and career, I have had the privilege to work with people of all ages, with various challenges such as anxiety, depression, post traumatic stress, bereavement, self image, relationship difficulties ect. This has allowed me to develop a wide range of experience and allows me to provide a high-quality therapeutic services for many different emotional challenges.

As a warm and empathic counsellor, I aim to provide a safe and comfortable space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings and emotions. I will provide a space where you can gain a deeper insight and perspective on your current situation whilst empowering you to shine as an individual.

Sitting in the client’s chair can be daunting. It can bring up so many different feelings. But I would like to reassure you. You’re not alone. As a counsellor, I have done this too! I'll be alongside you throughout each part of your journey, supporting you to navigate life’s challenges.

I believe an important factor to counselling is authenticity. As a counsellor with lived experience, I offer a deep understanding of the challenges and emotions many people face. I believe that true personal growth and healing come from being genuinely heard and understood. My own experiences allow me to offer not only compassion and insight but also patience and understanding as we work together. My goal is to empower you to reconnect with your inner strength, helping you navigate your unique journey toward greater well-being and personal growth.


Practice description

Counselling is a deeply personal experience that varies for each individual. Whether you’ve been to counselling before, or know someone who has, I want to reassure you that I’ll meet you where you are. My goal is to create a safe and comfortable space where you can take your time to explore whatever arises for you. Above all, I’m committed to ensuring you feel heard and supported throughout the process.

My therapeutic approach is based mainly within humanistic models, which means I see you as an individual. I take time to understand you as a whole. You are the expert on you and I will work with you on your journey of healing and self discovery. Everyone’s counselling journey is unique to them. I will ensure to direct my approach best suited to your needs.

At the moment I am only providing remote and telephone sessions.

My first session

Our first session will be a session for us to get to know one another. I will take some time to discuss the therapeutic contract with you and we can have a chat about your previous experiences of therapy, anything that you would like me to be aware of, any questions you may have. In this session we will outline what has brought you to therapy and where you would like to be at the end of the therapeutic process.
