About me and my therapy practice
Do you find yourself at a standstill in life, uncertain about the next steps to take? It's possible that anxiety is stopping you from moving forwards progress, or keeping you in a state of 'survival mode' where you feel stuck. Maybe you feel unsure of who you are and find yourself meeting everyone else's needs, rather than your own.
Living in a way which feels inauthentic can lead to emotions such as anger, resentment, anxiety, and depression.
Specialisms:
Neurodivergence post diagnostic work - I can support you to understand, accept and make sense of your diagnosis (self made or formal). This can include reflecting on past experiences with a new understanding of yourself. I can also provide you with support and guidance to live in a way which affirms your neurodiversity.
Relational Trauma - This is trauma which stems from relationships. I may be that difficult past relationships mean you are finding yourself stuck in unhealthy relationships or that you lack self worth and esteem. It may be that you struggle to define your identity beyond your relationships. I can help you to understand yourself and increase your self esteem and belief in yourself. Supporting you to recognise and put healthy boundaries into your relationships.
Work with Parents - Do you wish to break generational trauma cycles? worry about passing toxic behavior to your child? finding it hard to adapt to parenthood? experience burnout from parenting, struggle to manage parental guilt, or never feel 'good enough'? I can support you to process and explore difficult experiences from your own childhood, so you are able to move on and start fresh with your own children.
