About me and my therapy practice
At True North Collective, I'm committed to making transformative therapy accessible to all. My integrative approach combines the warmth of person-centred therapy with insights from psychodynamic and behavioural techniques, creating a flexible framework that adapts to your individual needs.
Understanding that financial constraints shouldn't be a barrier to mental health support, I offer sliding-scale fees through True North Collective (£15 to £40). This service maintains the same high-quality, professional care while ensuring therapy remains affordable and accessible to our community.
My experience has taught me that everyone deserves a space to be heard and understood, regardless of their circumstances. Whether you're facing life transitions, personal challenges, or seeking growth, I provide a supportive environment where healing and self-discovery can flourish.
Practice description
Through True North Collective, I offer therapy in central Keighley a Understanding that accessibility extends beyond location, I provide flexible options including online sessions and telephone therapy for people in the Aire and Worth Valley area.
My first session
Accessing therapy at True North Collective can begin through several channels: our website, email at info@truenorthcollective.co.uk, referrals from our peer support groups and workshops, local GPs, or social prescribing services.
Upon reaching out, you'll first complete our Emotional Wellness Snapshot form (PHQ-9), which helps us understand your immediate needs and address any safeguarding or harm risks.
Based on this initial assessment, we will either recommend alternative services if we believe they better suit your needs, or invite you to a free counselling assessment. This comprehensive assessment session provides an opportunity to explore your concerns in detail, allowing us to tailor our approach and determine if counselling is the right step for you at this time.
Following the assessment, you'll be offered a paid stand-alone counselling session, giving you the chance to experience therapy and consider whether it's the right path for you. After completing these steps, you can make an informed decision about proceeding with regular therapy sessions, taking time to consider your options, or exploring alternative support services.
Our process ensures that you receive appropriate support while having the space and time to make decisions about your therapeutic journey.

My practice is built on the belief that every person's experience is valid and worthy of understanding.
I offer a collaborative therapeutic relationship where you can explore your challenges without judgment, whether they're personal, professional, or somewhere in between. My integrative approach means we can draw from various therapeutic tools and techniques, adapting our work together as your needs evolve.
Begin your journey with a complimentary 15-minute consultation. If we feel we're a good match, you can experience a full 50-60 minute session for £55, with no obligation to continue. I believe in making that first step as comfortable as possible.
