About me and my therapy practice

Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¾«×¼×ÊÁÏ

Hello, I’m Sarah, a Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¾«×¼×ÊÁÏ registered Counsellour, STAT-certified Alexander Technique Teacher and a Somatic Experiencing® (SEP) first-year practitioner. I am interested in helping people to live their lives fully and wake up all parts of themselves.

I offer one-to-one face-to-face and online counselling and will create a bespoke programme for you depending on your individual needs and desired outcome.

I am a compassionate and experienced therapist who works relationally from an existential and body-oriented/somatic perspective, exploring what matters to you currently.

The therapeutic relationship is at the heart of my work, and I aim to create a safe environment in which you feel secure and able to explore thoughts, feelings and behaviours.

I see the whole person, that of mind body and spirit and work in a non-judgmental way to help you gain further insight into any challenges you might face. I want our work together to be effective and believe that change is possible when one can truly accept themselves for who they are.

My approach is collaborative and down to earth, being truly emotionally present with you and the work we are doing together, as well as facilitative and direct to help you identify specific patterns and dysregulation.

My expertise:

• Anxiety / Stress / Generalised Anxiety Disorder

• Trauma

• Low Mood/ Depression

• Panic Attacks

• Stress Burnout

• Relationship Issues

• Neurodivergence

• Addictions

• Eating Disorders

• Family Issues

• Bereavement

• Grief / Sadness / Feeling Sad

• Low Self Confidence/ Low Self Esteem

• Post Traumatic Stress Disorder

Practice description

When you come to me, we will work together to create a bespoke plan that is right for you and supports you depending on your needs. I don’t believe that one size fits all, so we will identify what it is that’s important to you. Maybe you don’t know, and that is okay as it’s something we can explore together. Just coming along and showing up for yourself is the first step in starting to build the future you want. I aim to help people to become unstuck and empower them, which in turn enables them to fully live their lives. The therapeutic relationship is at the heart of my work, so we will spend some time building safety and trust as a foundation for our work together.

My first session

I offer a free 20-minute telephone consultation before commencing our work together. This is an opportunity for you to decide if we might be the right fit to work together and also ask me any questions you might have.
