About me and my therapy practice
Hi! I am Sarah. I am a Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¾«×¼×ÊÁÏ registered children and young people’s therapist.
As a person-centered integrative practitioner, I will work with you and your child/ adolescent empathically and creatively, using arts- based techniques that have been individually tailored, and which create space for us to explore your world.
My work is based on a deep respect for people and I am committed to empowering you to explore your own understandings and make your own choices. I emphasis the importance of connection and relationship in all of my work.
I have 20 years experience working with children and young people, as a lecturer at Exeter University, Child in Care advocate, teacher, and SENDCO, working with schools, therapeutic fostering agencies, and CAMHS
I am trained to Masters level in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy for Children, Adolescents, and Families from Roehampton University, and I currently hold the role of therapist at Kingsbridge Community College, The Apricot Center, Dartington, and Child in Care Advocate at Torquay Academy.
I hold the highest level of safeguarding training- L3 Designated Safeguarding Lead, and have an enhanced DBS.
