About me and my therapy practice
We can often find ourselves feeling stuck or in a loop of repeating patterns and situations, usually with the same depressing and disappointing outcomes, which can leave us wondering:
"Why does this always happen to me?"
Counselling can offer a safe space to express, explore and process emotions. This can shine a light on what fundamental needs are required to, not only survive but to thrive and heal.
It can empower the mind to stay in a present state of awareness and feel more in control of one's choices and responses, whilst simultaneously accepting that setbacks do sometimes occur. Rather than holding on to pain from the past or remain frozen in fear of the future, together we can feel what needs to be felt and recognise what action can be taken to meet your needs.
Practice description
When we work together you can expect our sessions to be tailored to your specific needs, as an Integrative therapist, I use a variety different approaches to fit your unique experiences and points of view, furthermore, this enables me to compassionately observe and cooperatively explore alternative ways of approaching relationships without judgement or shame, strengthening connections with the self and others.
I'm passionate about creating a strong trusting relationship that breeds courage and creativity to enable self-discovery and freedom of expression, in an environment that is supportive and understanding.

My first session
Whether you are new to counselling or not, the first step to seeking support can feel intimidating, especially if you are used to just dealing with issues and carrying on. I know from personal experience just how lonely that world is, it is daunting to seek help and even harder to be vulnerable enough to feel what needs to be felt, however, with time and courage and the right support things can get better.
Whether you're ready to move forward or still considering, I will respect your pace and decision, and when you are feeling ready, please feel welcome to contact me and arrange a meeting.
Our initial consultation will take around 15 to 20 minutes via phone call or Zoom. We will talk about your background and experiences, this will help us both decide if we are a good fit for further sessions. If I feel I am not the right counsellor for you, I can assist in you in finding a professional who is better suited to your needs.
