About me and my therapy practice

No one is exempt from life’s ups and downs, and these experiences can often be complicated, leaving us feeling stuck.  I support clients to heal, experience change and to help explore what you are going through at your own pace. If you feel ready, I would be honoured to help. Remember, you are not alone in this.

Practice description

Hello, I'm Chaneille.

Much of my work supports clients with grief, emotional abuse, depression, anxiety, relationship dynamics, connection, identity, and self-esteem. I work with all adults and have a special interest in working with relational trauma, identify and grief. This means I support clients to understand how distressing life events and generational patterns influence our thoughts and perceptions of the world, as well as navigating the grief cycle following a loss.

I have extensive therapeutic experience, having worked in multiple private practices and within the NHS. I also hold an MSc in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy.

With my warm and deeply empathic approach, my goal is to meet you where you are. I strive to create a non-judgemental and supportive space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. This environment allows you to be you, in a space that is nourishing and encourages you to become more self-aware and take the steps needed to become the most authentic version of yourself.

As I believe that the relationship between us is important for a cohesive and meaning therapeutic relationship, all our sessions will be collaborative. Together, we can work towards building resilience, fostering self-compassion, and creating lasting change. I look forward to working with you on your journey toward greater well-being and fulfilment.

How does it work?

When you get in touch, we will have a initial consultation call. This is a great opportunity to answer any questions you might have and see if I'm the right therapist for you. There’s no pressure continue if it doesn't feel like we are a good fit. It is important for you to decide if you feel comfortable working with me.

Following the consultation, we can then arrange an initial session and officially start sessions.

Sessions last 50 minutes, weekly and online. You might choose long-term therapy, an open-ended approach, or a set number of sessions.

My first session

Within the first session, we will explore what has brought you to therapy and speak a bit more about what is going on for you. This can also be a good point to outline some goals that you wish to work towards. Hopefully through this session, you will get a feel for how working with me would be.

We’ll start at a gentle pace to build a therapeutic relationship that helps you feel comfortable exploring deeper issues. By the end of our session, you can decide if I’m the right therapist for you and how you’d like to move forward.
