About me and my therapy practice
Person-centred therapy is a compassionate and supportive approach that places you at the heart of the therapeutic process. It is based on the belief that everyone has the capacity for personal growth and healing when provided with the right environment.
I aim to create a non-judgmental, accepting environment, helping you feel seen, heard, and valued as you work through challenges at your own pace.
A key element in my practice is building a trusting therapeutic relationship. I believe that this genuine connection helps clients feel safe to explore their thoughts and feelings openly.
Person-centered therapy encourages self-discovery, resilience, and self-compassion. This approach can be particularly helpful if you’re seeking a space to explore life’s difficulties, reconnect with your values, and move toward positive change
Practice description
As a person-centred counsellor, I offer a safe, compassionate space where you can explore your feelings and challenges without fear of judgment. You’ll find a place to express yourself at your own pace, knowing that your unique experiences are met with understanding and respect.
I aim to facilitate a deeper understanding of yourself and to empower you to make choices that align with your true self and values.
I hope our work together can create an empowering and supportive environment where you feel genuinely seen and heard. Whether you’re seeking greater self-awareness, relief from difficulties, or a stronger connection to your authentic self, I am here to accompany you.
With both personal experience and professional training in supporting neurodivergent individuals and parent carers of disabled children, I’m here to meet your needs, adapting to your preferred style of communication.
