About me and my therapy practice
Do you feel different, like you’ve never quite fit in?
Perhaps you struggle to find your place in the world, navigating feelings of isolation or being misunderstood. You may sometimes slip into dark or uncertain places, unsure how to move forward or make sense of your experiences.
How would it feel to truly accept your unique self? To embrace who you are and find a sense of belonging?
I provide a compassionate, non-judgmental space where you can explore these feelings and uncover your true self. My approach blends spirituality, self-discovery, and deep therapeutic work to help you navigate life’s challenges, heal past wounds, and create a sense of purpose and connection. Together, we can shine a light on the dark places, helping you embrace your individuality and find where you belong.
My work is also deeply informed by my experience as a registered nurse specialising in palliative care. Supporting individuals and families through illness, loss, and the end of life has given me a profound understanding of what it means to face life’s most difficult transitions. This unique perspective allows me to help clients explore themes of mortality, grief, and transformation with compassion and sensitivity.
In addition, I offer support for those integrating insights from psychedelic experiences. Whether these experiences have been challenging or illuminating, I provide a grounded, supportive space to help you make sense of them and weave their meaning into your life.
If you’re ready to take the first step toward self-acceptance and healing, I’m here to walk alongside you.
Practice description
Sessions are 50 minutes long, and we aim to keep the same time slot each week to establish consistency. If working online, I can offer greater flexibility around scheduling to suit your needs.
My therapeutic approach helps you explore your behaviour, personality, and inner life, offering insight into the patterns that shape your experiences. Together, we work toward a deeper understanding of yourself, enabling you to live more authentically and with greater clarity.
I tailor each session to meet your individual needs, creating a warm and supportive space where you can explore at your own pace. My aim is to help you feel safe, heard, and empowered as we cultivate the self-awareness and understanding needed for meaningful and lasting change.
Alongside talking therapy, I may also incorporate techniques such as breathwork, meditation, journaling, or creative expression, like drawing, to deepen your connection to yourself and support your journey toward wholeness.
My first session
Our first session is an initial assessment, giving us the chance to explore what you want from therapy and the changes you’d like to see in your life. There’s no obligation to continue after this session—it’s an opportunity to see if working together feels right for you.
If you choose to continue, I recommend starting with a block of six sessions. This provides the time and space to explore your thoughts and feelings more deeply and to build a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship.
The total number of sessions will depend on your individual needs and goals. Short-term therapy typically lasts between 6–12 sessions and focuses on specific issues, while longer-term, open-ended therapy offers the flexibility to work at greater depth. Regular reviews will ensure that we stay aligned with your goals and that your needs are being met throughout the process.
