As a qualified counsellor and member of the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¾«×¼×ÊÁÏ, I am here to support you whilst you explore what is happening in your life and to help you take steps in your journey to change, however that looks for you.
As a humanistic counsellor, I can draw on a range of theoretical approaches, adapting each session to your individual needs. The sessions are for you and we work together that they meet your needs.
I am experienced working with adults, from 18 years of age and with issues such as anxiety, depression, loss and bereavement, low self esteem and confidence, relationship difficulties, redundancy and trauma along with many other life challenges. I have worked with many older adults who initially wondered whether therapy was worth it at their stage in life, and found the support invaluable.
I can offer you a safe space where you can talk through your worries and know that someone is truly listening. I am warm and compassionate and can offer therapy online, on the phone or face to face to adults in Worthing. I work with all adults aged 18+; I also welcome enquiries from Older adults, whether they are living independently or in a care home.
Practice description
I offer short or long term counselling, which we will discuss at our first session. Sessions are available Monday to Friday and can be online via google meets, on the phone or face to face in a tranquil therapy space in Worthing.
Sessions are 50 minutes long and it works best if we are able to have weekly sessions at a regular time.
We can simply talk. Or we can use a range of creative resources such as clay or paint to help you explore your self and your experience.
The experience of therapy is for you and we can work through all the details in our first session, making sure that it works for you.
My first session
Once you have completed the contact form, I will get back to you within 48hrs wherever possible. I offer an initial 20 minute consultation on the phone and there we can agree whether you want to have online or face to face sessions. This will be an opportunity for us to get to start our journey and a chance for you to ask any questions you may have.
