About me and my therapy practice
I am committed to providing a safe and supportive space for you to seek personal growth, emotional resolution and healing. With a foundation built on empathy, understanding, strong interpersonal skills, trustworthiness, flexibility, and sensitivity, I am an integrative therapist and I take a person-centred approach which puts clients at the centre. I work with different approaches providing a broad perspective from which to address your therapy needs.
Practice description
I create an environment free from judgment, fostering open and honest exploration. Through attentive and reflective listening, I aim to deeply understand your experiences, providing a space for your narrative to unfold, cultivating a trusting collaborative therapeutic relationship. I offer a safe, confidential space for clients, working within an integrative counselling approach, and blending the tools of hypnotherapy and energy psychotherapies to help gain deeper insights, understand patterns, release unhelpful emotions, and reframe the past, to develop positive tools to move forward confidently in new and empowering ways.
I will take time to answer any questions, explain the procedure and ensure I fully understand your issues, needs and therapy goals to help you get the most from your sessions - clients often notice a shift from the first session, and because the approaches I use offer a brief therapy, many clients can experience a positive improvement fairly quickly.

About me and my therapy practice
My Counselling Supervision Approach follows The Seven-Eyed Supervision Model, developed by Peter Hawkins and Robin Shohet, and is a comprehensive approach that focuses on seven key areas to enhance the therapeutic process.
The Seven Eyes
Eye 1: Focus on the Client
The supervisor helps the supervisee understand the client's experience, emotions, and behaviors.
Eye 2: Focus on Interventions
This involves examining the interventions used by the supervisee.
Eye 3: Focus on the Relationship Between Client and Therapist
The supervisor explores the dynamics of the therapeutic relationship.
Eye 4: Focus on the Therapist/Supervisee
This eye looks at the personal and professional aspects of the therapist.
Eye 5: Focus on the Supervisory Relationship
The supervisor examines the relationship between themselves and the supervisee.
Eye 6: Focus on the Supervisor
This involves the supervisor reflecting on their own processes and feelings.
Eye 7: Focus on the Wider Context
The supervisor considers external factors affecting the therapy, such as cultural, social, and organisational influences.
By working through these seven areas, I can help the supervisee gain deeper insights, improve their therapeutic skills, and ensure ethical and effective practice. It’s a holistic approach that supports both the supervisee and the clients they work with.

My Counselling Approach: I am an Integrative Counsellor. Integrative counselling is a flexible and personalised approach that combines elements from different therapeutic traditions to best meet the unique needs of each client. By incorporating Person-Centred, Psychodynamic, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) approaches, I can tailor methods used to provide a holistic and comprehensive therapy plan.
Person-Centred Therapy focuses on creating a non-judgmental, empathetic, and supportive environment. I offer unconditional positive regard, helping clients to explore their feelings and reach their full potential.
Psychodynamic Therapy aims to uncover deep-seated feelings and unconscious processes that influence current behaviour. It involves exploring past experiences and their impact on present issues, to help clients gain insight and resolve internal conflicts.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) focuses on identifying and changing unhelpful thought patterns and behaviours. It provides practical strategies and tools to manage symptoms and improve emotional well-being.
Integrative Counselling tailors therapy to the individual's specific needs and circumstances, addresses both the conscious and unconscious aspects of the client's experience, and combines the strengths of different therapies to provide a well-rounded therapy plan.
