About me and my therapy practice

Hello, my name is Iffy, and I’m a person-centred therapist deeply committed to supporting individuals as they navigate life’s unique challenges. My approach is rooted in the core principles of person-centred therapy, which places you, the individual, at the heart of the healing process. I firmly believe that every person has an innate capacity for growth, self-understanding, and self-healing. My role as your therapist is to create a supportive, empathetic, and non-directive environment where that capacity can fully blossom.

Life can be tough, and taking the step to seek therapy is an act of courage. Whether you’re dealing with deep-rooted issues that require long-term support or facing a specific life event that calls for short-term interventions, I’m here to guide and support you every step of the way. My aim is to offer the care and understanding you need, no matter where you are on your journey. 

Therapy is a collaborative process, and together we’ll explore any barriers that may be holding you back from reaching your full potential. These barriers might stem from past experiences, negative thought patterns, or unhelpful coping mechanisms. Through our work together, we’ll identify and address these obstacles, helping you cultivate a deeper understanding of yourself. This self-awareness will empower you to make choices that align with your true desires and values, leading to a more authentic and fulfilling life.

Practice description

Initial Consultation

We start with a free 20-minute chat to discuss your needs and see if we’re a good fit. This helps lay the groundwork for our potential work together.

First Session

In our first session, we’ll dive into your background, concerns, and goals. I’ll explain my approach, and together we’ll set clear goals and expectations, establishing a strong, supportive connection.

Goal Setting

We’ll choose the best approach for your needs—short-term, medium-term, or ongoing—and create a plan to help you implement positive changes.

Ongoing Support

I provide a safe, supportive space for open conversation, regularly reviewing your progress and adjusting as needed to help manage stress, anxiety, and other challenges.

Ending the Process

We’ll conclude when you’ve met your goals or feel ready, using the final session to reflect and ensure you’re equipped to maintain your progress.
