About me and my therapy practice
As a person-centred counsellor I create a safe, compassionate and supportive space tailored to individual needs. My focus is on helping you navigate challenges to foster self-acceptance, self-confidence & emotional wellbeing.
Practice description
As a person-centred counsellor I offer a compassionate and holistic approach, providing a safe, non-directive and empathetic space for all clients to explore their emotions, challenges, and self-perception.
Struggles with mental health can lead to feelings of anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, lethargy, overwhelm, relationship problems, loneliness, self harm, unhealthy habits related to food or substances or perhaps just a feeling that something isn't quite right.
I listen without judgment to support you in understanding and managing these feelings. Together, we’ll work to identify the thoughts and beliefs contributing to your mental health difficulties.
My approach is personalised and person-centred, to help you develop healthier coping mechanisms and foster a more positive self-view.
Through our sessions, you’ll gain tools to build resilience, self-compassion, and emotional strength. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, struggling with body dissatisfaction, or finding it hard to cope with stress, I am here to walk alongside you on your journey toward mental and emotional well-being.
My goal is to help you cultivate self-acceptance, confidence, and a healthier relationship with both your mind and body. By working together, we can create a path toward a healthier mind, body, and sense of self, helping you reclaim your confidence and joy.
My first session
I offer a free initial 30 minute online or phone session to meet and discuss what you want to get out of counselling, how we may work together and to see if I am the right counsellor for you.
I know it can feel daunting to make the first contact and have the first conversation so I will always try to keep this as open and relaxed as possible.
You can call or email me to set up an initial session and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
If you want to continue we will arrange a more structured first counselling session together following our initial meeting.
