I specialize in supporting individuals recovering from relational trauma, grief, and anxiety. As an integrative Trauma-informed therapist I blend Emotionally Focused Therapy, an experimental humanistic therapy grounded in attachment science, somatic therapy and gentle cognitive processing to help you make sense of your experience, feel grounded, resilient, and more secure within yourself and your relationships.
Alongside my counselling practice, I have worked for over 17 years as a nurse in both hospital and community settings. I have counselling experience within the NHS where I have supported individuals through through grief, loss, life transitions, PTSD, complex PTSD, existential issues, anxiety, depression, relational trauma and difficulties, historical trauma, and more.

My approach is warm, engaged, compassionate, and grounded in a deep understanding of how trauma impacts us and our relationships.
As a relational trauma therapist, I guide you in confronting painful echoes of your past and allow space for grieving losses that have shaped your life. We'll work together to enhance self-awareness, nurture self-compassion, and develop a stronger sense of self.
My first session
The foundation of good therapy is the quality of the relationship between therapist and client.
During the first session I begin the process of creating a secure base in which you can experience the trust and safety needed for meaningful exploration of your inner world. This involves an assessment; I will ask you to tell me a little bit about you, your history, what brings you to therapy and your goals for counselling/therapy. The first session is an opportunity to get a sense of how we may work together and for you to ask any questions you may have.
There are no expectations for you to continue after the first session.
