About me and my therapy practice
Welcome, I’m Anna. Thank you for taking the time to read my profile as I know there are many to choose from.
I am a dedicated and experienced counsellor offering one to one sessions both in person and online for adults and young people 16+. I'm an integrative therapist which means I use a variety of evidence based therapeutic techniques to meet the individual needs of each client. I work with people presenting with a broad range of issues but specialise in anxiety, depression, women transitioning into mothering and parenting and young people stepping into adulthood who are struggling with their identity and sense of self.
I am neurodivergent - affirming and home education - friendly.
If you find yourself on this page then I imagine you are in need of some support at this time. I am here to listen with care and sensitivity to your concerns, regardless of how distressing or upsetting your experiences or feelings may be.
I have worked with clients who have:
-Suffered a loss or bereavement
-A life changing medical diagnosis
-Are encountering significant relationship difficulties
-Are struggling as new parents or parents of older children
-Those who need to work through and understand their relationship with a parent, sibling or close family member
-Others who are managing a life change, due to either reaching a certain age or stage in life
-Experiencing difficulties at work
-Those struggling with big life events such as separation, divorce, infidelity and peri-menopause
-Parents and children struggling with school avoidance and those who are supporting their children through home schooling.
These experiences can create symptoms such as: anxiety, stress, depression, problems with sleep, mood, general health complaints, how we feel about ourselves and others.
If you don't see your issue on this list it doesn't mean I can't help. Please get in touch and also explore my website for more information on how I work.
