I see clients from Tuesday to Friday, between 10am and 7pm.  Please contact me to ask about my availability on these days. I can see you in Brighton and Hove, in my therapy room or online.

Hello, can I help you? I'm Clare - a qualified counsellor with a compassionate yet encouraging nature. I work in a humanistic framework. This means that together we explore your fears, hopes and dreams, how you feel in this world and how you make meaning in life.

My background has been as a teacher, of English, and also yoga and meditation. I鈥檓 interested in helping you on a personal level to find your way in life. The emphasis in my therapeutic approach is being with the whole of you, mind and body, in the 鈥渉ere and now鈥�.

I鈥檇 like you to feel comfortable with me and able to bring the whole of you to the sessions: both the things about yourself you like, and the things you struggle with. 

I have a stylish and comfortable therapy room at the garden of my Hove flat where I can welcome you.

You can choose to have your therapy face-to-face or online. My practice is based in a comfortable garden room, near Hove seafront, in Brighton and Hove. This is a dedicated therapy space. 

Sessions are 50 minutes, and cost 拢55, payable at the start of each session.  The first session is at a reduced cost of 拢40. 

Please give me 24 hours notice of cancellation.

I see two clients a week at a reduced rate of 拢40, so if you are on a low income, please enquire if space is still available.  

I am happy to answer your questions in a 10 minute call with you, so we can both think about whether I am the right therapist for you.  

In the first session, I will ask you to complete an assessment form with me, and will check you that understand my way of working with you before we start. This first session is 拢40, rather than the normal session cost of 拢55.
