About me and my therapy practice

Welcome to a safe space where your journey to self-discovery and healing begins. I am thrilled to offer you person-centred therapy, a holistic approach that prioritises your unique experiences, emotions, and perspectives.

As your therapist, I am committed to creating a warm and inclusive environment where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to explore your thoughts and feelings freely. My practice embraces diversity, recognising the importance of cultural sensitivity in the therapeutic process.

In addition to my private practice, I have the privilege of working as a Counsellor for Breast cancer patients within the NHS and continue to volunteer my time with Macmillan. This wider experience allows me to stay connected to a diverse range of needs and further hone my therapeutic skills. As a fully registered member of the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¾«×¼×ÊÁÏ, I adhere to their rigorous ethical framework.

Thank you for entrusting me with your journey. Together, let us embark on a path of self-discovery, growth, and healing.

Practice description

One aspect that sets my practice apart is my ability to provide therapy in English, Hindi, and Gujarati. Growing up, I was fortunate to be immersed in a bilingual environment. Speaking Gujarati wasn't just a means of communication; it was a connection to my heritage, culture, and family.

This personal experience has deeply influenced my approach to therapy. I understand the significance of language in shaping our identities and relationships. Whether you prefer to express yourself in English, Gujarati, or Hindi, I am here to support you every step of the way.

I am immensely grateful for the gift of fluency in three languages. It allows me to bridge cultural divides and reach individuals from diverse backgrounds, and I hope to create a therapeutic space that feels welcoming and inclusive to all.

My first session

I believe a strong therapeutic relationship is key to successful therapy. To help us determine if I'm the right therapist for you, I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation. During this consultation, we can discuss your needs and goals in more detail, and if it feels like a good fit, we can then schedule our first therapy session.
