About me and my therapy practice
I am an experienced Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¾«×¼×ÊÁÏ registered existential therapist and have worked in the charitable and voluntary sectors alongside my private practice. My training includes cognitive behavioural and psychodynamic approaches, and I use both in conjunction with my existential background to work in an integrative and flexible way.
I have worked with clients experiencing a range of difficulties including anxiety, bereavement and loss, identity and life transitions, relationships and family dynamics, self-esteem and confidence.
I have also worked across a range of education sectors for fifteen years, including with pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), in secondary schools, and in Higher Education. Prior to this, I came from a background in the arts. Both factors inform my approach to psychotherapy, where I draw on my expertise in facilitating learning and building rapport as well as my interest in creative ways of working.
I currently divide my time between teaching at University College London (UCL), doctoral study and my psychotherapy practice. I am currently in the later stages of completing a doctorate in existential psychotherapy and am particularly interested in the education and training of psychotherapists as well as the relationship between psychotherapy practice and research.
