About me and my therapy practice
I am a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and Nutritional Health Coach. I offer a unique blend of CBT and Nutritional Health Coaching to help you regain control of your wellbeing and make lasting change to your physical and mental wellbeing.

Practice description
Our emotional and physical wellbeing is connected to our brain and gut health. CBT health coaching blends proven CBT techniques and recent research on nutrition to offer an holistic approach to improve your wellbeing.
CBT helps you understand your current unhelpful thinking patterns and behaviours that are keeping you stuck. More importantly it teaches you techniques to make sustainable changes. Working together we will create a bespoke health plan that aligns to your health needs and fits in with your busy lifestyle.
I take an holistic approach which means we will explore your self-narrative, nutrition, movement and social connections. As a busy mum of two boys, I appreciate that wellbeing needs to be simple and fit in with your lifestyle and interests. There is no point eating kale if you hate it or running if you think it’s boring! Let's explore your unique vision of wellbeing.
Sustainable change does not happen overnight, it takes time, active participation and a whole lot of self compassion. The knowledge and skills you will learn last a life time and will give you the essential toolkit to take control of your own wellbeing now and in the future.

My first session
It starts with a free 15min consultation. This gives you the opportunity to ask any questions and get a sense whether you wish to go ahead.
The first session is an in-depth 90 minute consultation, prior to which you will be requested to complete some health questionnaires and keep a 3 day food diary.
Following this, regular sessions will be scheduled where we will work through your bespoke action plan. In our sessions, we work together to explore your thoughts and behaviours. This helps you see how they affect you, and we find ways to make changes that can improve your wellbeing.
CBT health coaching focuses on achieving specific goals with a set timeframe. The number of sessions required will vary on individual basis however a minimum of 6 are recommended.
