About me and my therapy practice
I’m an experienced integrative therapist available to support you today. In many instances, I offer same day appointments.
While I have experience working with a wide rage of presentations, I specialise in supporting those with eating disorders and disordered eating behaviours. I work with young people, adults and families.
I use different counselling therapies to support you in any ongoing issues related to food or eating that you may be experiencing. Our relationship to eating can affect our relationship to food, to others and ourselves. You may find yourself in a period of uncertainty and I hope to support you through this. You may find yourself experiencing physical symptoms due to your eating behaviours, struggling to eat, overeating and/or having problems eating in the company of others. You may also feel overwhelmed or stressed. Perhaps you are unsure whether therapy is the right choice for you, are feeling unhappy, anxious or confused. As a therapist, I’m here to guide you along your way and find therapeutic interventions that may be useful for you.​
Practice description
I have worked as a psychotherapist for several years and provided counselling for a number of organisations. Following my NHS work in London, I have provided counselling in local charities in Edinburgh. I have since branched out into working with private organisations as an integrative therapist and eating disorder specialist before opening my private practice.
My core training is in both Psychodynamic and Person-Centred therapies. However, I integrate elements from a number of different therapies/styles, including Gestalt, Internal Family Systems, and Somatic Therapies, into my counselling/psychotherapy work to meet your needs. Coping and managing are core parts of my therapeutic approach, so at times I draw on coaching techniques to find additional ways to support you.

I’m an experienced integrative therapist available to support you in your therapeutic journey. Whether you are still in training or you have been a counsellor for a number of years, I'm curious to hear from you!
Counselling supervision is an important pillar in our work. Coming from a background of education, I feel that the sharing of knowledge and ability to exchange about this profession is vital. Counselling can be a lonely profession and supervision is a helpful standard that keeps us connected and helps us feel supported and help.
In my practice I work with young people, adults and couples. My core training is in both Psychodynamic and Person-Centred therapies. However, as an integrative therapist, I integrate elements from a number of different therapies/styles, including Gestalt, Internal Family Systems, and Somatic Therapies, into my counselling/psychotherapy work. I specifically have worked around trauma and continue to work with individuals that have experienced (childhood) abuse.
Practice description
I offer counselling supervision to new counsellors in training, as well as experienced counsellors. In my supervision, I particularly focus on supporting you in your training, or experience, as well as offering perspective on your client relationships.
I particularly have an interest on working with difference, diversity, and power, as a counsellor from an international background. These issues can easily be neglected in our profession and I feel it is vital to focus on how we work surrounding this in this growing profession. This is also the focus of my own counselling research.
