About me and my therapy practice
Welcome to Person Centred Pathways... Having personal experience of how bleak life can become, I have dedicated my life to helping others find hope, healing and the strength to overcome their challenges through compassionate and effective counselling, guiding you on your journey towards a brighter future.
Recognising the need for help is the hardest part. Do you feel ready for a change?
Having an experienced counsellor to guide you from feeling stuck, to finding the happiness you deserve can be transformative. Providing you with the tools, support, and insights necessary to navigate life's challenges and achieve a more fulfilling and balanced life.
What I can help with
I can help you navigate a range of challenges, such as managing anxiety, depression, and stress, or dealing with feelings of being lost, stuck, or unloved.
Whether you're struggling with low self-esteem, emotional pain, or distress, including childhood trauma, I'm here to support you.
Maybe you're feeling overwhelmed, unsure of your direction, or caught in destructive patterns, we can work together to find clarity and build stronger connections, both with yourself and others.
I also offer guidance for individuals looking to improve relationships, whether you're facing difficulties, going through, or recovering from a breakup, or looking to better understand how to give and receive love. Broken trust, arguing, and generally struggling to communicate takes its toll on all relationships and finding your way back to a partner emotionally is a challenging process, but with the right guidance and support, I can help you rebuild the connection, improve communication, and restore the trust necessary for a stronger, healthier relationship.
Feeling alone and having no one around you who can see your struggle is a lonely place to be. Needing a safe harbour when it feels like you have monster's running wild in your mind, and you can no longer hide your pain is hard to face alone.
Practice description
How can counselling help me?
Sometimes it is easier to talk things through in a safe, non-judgemental therapeutic environment with an experienced counsellor, than to a partner, relative or friend because often, they might not be able to help, understand or hear what is on your mind.
It may be that you do not wish to burden or hurt them, or it may not be possible to be open and honest with them about your feelings. During therapy, together - we can find your own answers or solutions and find the happiness you deserve.
In our sessions you can talk openly and without judgement. You may need time to talk, cry, shout or just think. It allows us the opportunity to look at your problems in a unique way, with someone who will respect you and your opinions.
Counselling aims to help you process and overcome issues that are causing emotional pain or problems that are making you feel uncomfortable or unhappy. It is a type of talking therapy that allows you to talk about your problems and feelings in a confidential and dependable environment.
Sometimes, therapy can bring up difficult emotions, but it can also provide hope, clarity, relief, and guidance as we work through your thoughts and feelings. Over time, it feels like a positive step towards understanding yourself better and finding healthier ways to cope.
