About me and my therapy practice
Driven by a passion for supporting young individuals, I uphold principles of empathy, trust, and confidentiality in my counselling approach. I have worked with a diverse range of clients, helping numerous children and families navigate through their challenges. My therapy approach is integrative, incorporating techniques from various therapeutic modalities to best suit the needs of each individual young person.
I am a fully registered member of the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¾«×¼×ÊÁÏ (Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¾«×¼×ÊÁÏ).

Practice description
My therapeutic approach to childhood anxiety and related issues is rooted in scientifically supported methods, including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and compassion-focused therapy. This comprehensive, integrative approach is designed to help young people build resilience, develop self-compassion, and find ways to manage anxiety and related issues with confidence.
My approach is strengths-based, focusing on empathy, acceptance, and highlighting each child’s unique strengths, skills, and resources. Therapy is goal-oriented, supporting children as they build resilience and work toward their own values and wishes, with me as their guide in this process.
Why private therapy?
Private therapy provides a tailored, focused approach to managing anxiety and related issues, using evidence-based methods like Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). These approaches not only help children face fears and reduce compulsions but also build self-compassion, emotional resilience, and a deeper connection to their values. FAQs:
How much are sessions?
Each session costs £60 per 50-minute session (assessment or therapy).
I offer an initial free 15-minute telephone/Zoom consultation to all families who are considering private therapy for their child/teen. During the call I would gather more information about your concerns and check that I might be a suitable fit for your child. I will also answer any questions you might have about the process. Please get in touch for more information.
How long does a session last?
Each therapy session is 50 minutes long.
What happens in my first sessions?
The first session is an assessment. The assessment will cover a range of topics including the presenting concerns, the young person’s life in general, including their likes and dislikes, hopes for the future, their goals for any changes they might wish to make and the family history. Both the young person and a parent would usually be involved in the assessment, depending on the young person’s age and the family’s preference.
What about confidentiality?
The detailed content of sessions is usually kept confidential, other than discussion with clinical supervisor and your GP as standard. However, the exception to this would be if there was a concern about risk to someone, in which case information would need to be shared to ensure safety is maintained.
Do you work online or in-person?
I offer sessions both online and in-person. In Person sessions are from my therapy room in Earls Court, West London.
