About me and my therapy practice

My approach is integrative, meaning I draw on numerous ‘schools’ of therapy and psychological theory tailored to my client's needs at any time. How I work will be slightly different with every person.

Alongside talking therapy, and depending upon the client, we may utilise creative modalities, including mindfulness, breathwork, visualisation, imagery, archetypes, dream exploration, journaling and art materials. By bypassing the ‘rational’ mind, these creative practices can often unlock and powerfully shift things in ways that talk therapy alone cannot.

I have experience working with a wide variety of physical and emotional issues including anxiety, panic attacks and depression, grief and bereavement, pregnancy loss, body image issues, loneliness, suicidal ideation, sexual assault and trauma, lack of motivation, low self-worth, and low self-esteem. I am especially interested in life transitions, such as career change, pregnancy, divorce, midlife, and retirement.

I welcome you fully and look forward to walking alongside you on your therapeutic journey.
