About me and my therapy practice
I provide a safe, confidential space, free from judgement for you to share what's going on for you now and to set goals for what you would like to be different moving forward. My work is based around the Cognitive Behavioural Therapy approach however, it is led by you as the client and the expert in your life. So depending on what you bring to our sessions and what works for you, my approach is tailored in line with you. We want you to get the most out of your therapy experience so we will always talk about what works for you, what doesn't and align our approach to therapy with that.
Practice description
I can support you to become a master of your thoughts and to take control of those moments when anxiety tries to steal your peace. I can support you if you feel like you want to get a handle on certain habits or behaviours that aren’t helpful to you. We can work together on letting go of self-doubt and build your confidence and resilience.
You should walk away from our sessions knowing more about yourself and how to manage your thoughts, feelings and behaviours in a way that serves you instead of works against you. You will also have a toolkit of strategies that we have tried and tested together that you know can be helpful for your present and future self to keep you living healthier and happier.
My first session
Before agreeing to a first session, I offer a free 15-minute consultation call to make sure we are a good fit.
Our first session together will then be a chance for you to let me know more about what is going on for you now and what life looks like. I can also share with you how our therapy process will work and you can get a feel for me and my approach with no pressure to continue with sessions if it doesn't feel right for you.
