About me and my therapy practice
I believe therapy is a journey of self discovery and acceptance of yourself as a whole.
Therapy is a powerful and transformative process, and finding the right guidance is important in feeling safe and supported in this journey.
My aim is to help you understand yourself better, guiding you to find your own ways to navigate your mental health journey.
I believe you can become empowered to find tools for self healing, find resilience and develop self-trust and acceptance for yourself.
My job as a therapist it to walk alongside you in your healing journey, offering a safe space, support and tools for you to explore your current issues at your own pace.
I believe that we all have the tools within us to find our way through life's challenges, and through therapy you learn to trust yourself and your inner wisdom.
I offer support to individuals navigating life's challenges such life changes, stress, anxiety, depression, burnout, low mood, relationships issues and the symptoms of past trauma.
I use an integrative approach to therapy that takes into account the person as a whole: mind, body, spirit.
My approach comes from Pluralistic counselling, which means that I use different schools and techniques depending on what suits you best.
I implement visualisation techniques, mindfulness, breath work and somatic exercises based on Yoga practices.
I also offer Walk and Talk therapy, which is a great way to connect to your Self and use nature as a co-therapist.
I have 8 years of experience working with people in a clinical setting as a chiropractor. This has informed my understanding of the mind body connection, and the importance of treating the person as a whole.
Practice description
I work on a 121 basis either in my own office, online, or in the form of Walk and Talk therapy.
I offer a safe space for you to explore your issues, helping you understand yourself better, so you can find your own way through of your current issues.
Therapy is a personal journey: everyone is unique and different, and this is why my approach is different with each person.
My first session
I offer a free initial 15 min call so we can get to know each other and figure out if we're a good match. We can then book your first session, either online or in person.
In your first session, you'll have the chance to discuss your current issues. I will gather information about your personal history and details, and discuss the terms of our therapy session so you can agree with informed consent.
This session will also give you a chance to ask questions and make sure you are comfortable with me.
