About me and my therapy practice
As an integrative Counsellor and Coach, I draw on a diverse range of therapeutic approaches to provide a comprehensive and tailored experience for my clients. My practice blends the Person-Centred approach with elements of Cognitive Behaviourial Therapy (CBT), Gestalt Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy. This integrative approach allows me to adapt to the unique needs of each client, ensuring a supportive and effective therapeutic environment.
I believe in the profound importance of creating a safe and supportive space where clients can freely express themselves. In this environment, clients are not only listened to but truly heard, enabling them to address and work through painful and difficult thoughts and feelings. This process is essential for overcoming obstacles that may hinder growth and forward movement.
I am particularly passionate about helping clients navigate issues related to self-esteem, anxiety, trauma, bereavement, and loss. My goal is to assist clients in unlocking their potential leading to a more fulfilled and satisfying life. I believe showing compassion and dedication is important to supporting clients on their journey towards personal growth and wellbeing. A warm and empathetic approach ensures that clients feel valued and understood, making the therapeutic journey a collaborative and empowering experience.
Practice description
I am particularly passionate about helping clients navigate issues related to low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, trauma, bereavement, and loss. My goal is to assist clients in unlocking their potential and achieving personal growth, leading to a more fulfilled and satisfying life.
As a coach, I support clients in setting and achieving their personal and professional goals. I provide guidance, support, and motivation to help clients reach their full potential. My coaching practice is grounded in the belief that every client has the capability to achieve their goals with the right support and encouragement.
My first session
I offer an initial free 15 minute consultation to help you decide if I am the right fit for you before committing yourself.
The first session will serve as an assessment where we can get to know each other better. The primary aim is to understand your needs and expectations, allowing me to tailor our future interactions to best support you. I will also discuss in more detail the types of approaches I use. All sessions will last for 50 minutes and will be conducted on a weekly basis. If you decide that you would like to go ahead with therapy we can go through contracting together allowing for any questions you may have.
