About me and my therapy practice

Do you need someone to talk to? Maybe you are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or lost?

You may be here because you are finding something challenging or, you’re not feeling like yourself. Sometimes we know what is causing these feelings and at other times we don’t. Having a safe non-judgmental space to discuss feelings such as discomfort, low mood and anxiety may help you to understand them and find the best way for you to move forward.

The thought of talking to a stranger may be daunting, and that's perfectly natural, it can take a lot of courage to make the decision to start counselling. I believe that therapy can be a fulfilling experience that helps us to better understand ourselves and can lead to making a big difference in our lives.

Practice description

I aim on building a strong and trusting relationship with my clients in a safe, non-judgmental, confidential space. I work in a relational way meaning I am led by my clients. Together, we can work at a pace that suits you.

I treat each of my clients as unique individuals. Your thoughts, feelings, personal beliefs, sexuality, heritage, political standpoint, humor, and world views all contribute to your identity and will be respected.

I was inspired to train to become a counsellor after my own empowering experience almost 15 years ago. I feel passionate and privileged that I get to offer people the same level or respect, empathy, unconditional support, trust, care, and compassion that I received all those years ago.

I will support you in our sessions with warmth, a sense of humor, genuineness, and respect.

Please feel free to get in touch for an initial chat, it would be a pleasure to hear from you.
