About me and my therapy practice
Hi, I am Laurence, a qualified Psychotherapeutic Counsellor offering therapy for individuals, couples, relationships and groups. I am dedicated to empowering people to live happier and healthier lives. I work with people from all walks of life and am committed to providing accessible, non-discriminatory therapy.
People seek counselling and therapy for many reasons, including relationship problems, life changes, mental health issues, and a desire for personal growth. I provide a welcoming, inclusive, confidential space in which to explore thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, work through issues, and increase self-awareness.
We will work together to achieve your goals. This will involve collaboration and exploring current issues, relational patterns and past experiences to develop new ways of relating to people that can be taken into the world.
Practice description
I am a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor practising Relational Transactional Analysis. I have the following qualifications:
Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling (level 6)
- In advanced Psychotherapy training to Masters Degree level in Transactional Analysis at Metanoia Institute, London
- Advanced Certificate in relationship counselling
- Certificate in Critical Incident Response & Trauma training
- Foundation Certificate in Counselling Skills & Studies
- An experienced clinical practitioner having provided counselling at FCS Talking Therapies and Herne Bay Counselling Services (Kent)
I am a registered Individual Member of the British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists (MÏã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¾«×¼×ÊÁÏ). I am a registered Trainee Member of the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP). I am also a member of the European Association of Transactional Analysis (EATA), the International Association of Relational Transactional Analysis (IARTA) and the Metanoia Institute.

I offer an initial free fifteen-minute confidential consultation over Zoom, after which you can consider if you want to proceed.
