About me and my therapy practice
Mine is an inclusive practice providing a safe and non-judgemental space for you to explore and process your emotions, thoughts and experiences. Counselling sessions can help you gain a deeper understanding of your challenges and more clarity to manage your problems and symptoms.
Our sessions foster a therapeutic alliance, offering emotional support and a compassionate ear during difficult times. I can help you find relief, healing, and improved mental well-being.
Get in touch now for a free 20 minute consultation and to find out more.
Therapy Space
The practice is Brentwood Counselling and Therapy Centre in Ashwells Road, Pilgrims Hatch. The centre is set in serene grounds where it is quiet, peaceful and private. There is off-street secure parking.
Therapy Sessions
I offer 50 minute face to face-to-face, online, telephone and walk and talk sessions.
Sessions can be accompanied by a trained, non-shedding dog if required.
Next Steps
I offer a free 20 minute telephone consultation to chat through your concerns and decide if we are a good fit. You can ask any questions and if satisfied you can book your first appointment at a time to suit you. I would expect to see you within 1 - 5 days. Thereafter appointments can be weekly or fortnightly and are regularly reviewed to ensure you're getting what you need from the therapy.
Therapy can be short-term (up to six sessions) or long-term depending on your requirements.
Practice description
When you’re struggling or overwhelmed by life’s little and big problems, it can be difficult to know where to turn and harder to take the first step. Whatever you’re suffering whether it's depression; anxiety; low self-confidence/self-esteem; trauma; relationship problems; grief; loss or bereavement, it doesn’t have to be so hard when you have a professional you can trust to support you. I'm here to help you feel better and stronger, to help you to stop overthinking and find your own capacity to change and grow for a happier life. I will help you navigate the obstacles which may be making you feel as if you can't get ahead.
I have worked with charities helping clients recovering from substance abuse, with a hospice for bereaved family members and in private practice. I offer a wide range of support having had experience helping clients with anxiety, depression, grief, loss, addiction, stress, trauma, anger, phobias and relationship problems.
