About me and my therapy practice
Do you feel like your identity has become clouded or lost? Life is ever changing and it can be really hard sometimes to keep everything in balance. Have you lost your purpose or no longer make time for yourself due to the pressures of life?
For me the most life changing moment came when I had full awareness of my own health, knowing what would make things worse and the things that may not. This enabled me to be able to live life within these boundaries. Don’t get me wrong I do not get this right every time because sometimes what I need for my mental health may not align with my physical health but also because like you I am a human. This is one of the biggest reasons I set up my practice to be able to support others through their life transitions to find their true self amongst the chaos, whilst doing it at their pace through no set number of sessions.
Sessions with myself work by providing a safe trusting counselling relationship to explore what you are experiencing, the clouds can start to lift on who you are as a person. It could be that you no longer identify with the you prior to the life transition or that you want to be able to reconnect with yourself. By slowing things down and exploring at your pace, we can find ways that help you to feel safe when life is overwhelming around you. Once the relationship has built and you feel the trust of the counselling relationship we will be able to explore deeper issues that may be present for you. What is most important is that we go where you want to go, this is your journey, you are the expert I am simply here to sit with you and to hear you not just listen, as you travel through some of the darker feelings that have previously been pushed to one side or buried.

One to one online video call or phone call 50 minute sessions £50
​Often we overlook how much our lives are forever changing, maybe seeing ourselves as caterpillars that turn into butterflies once you become an adult. Whilst this may be how it feels for some, others may experience feeling more like a tree. They start life as a sapling being shaped by their nature and surroundings similar to humans, but as the seasons change and as they mature the changes happen frequently, bad weather can result in differences year on year, and each season brings differences too.
This feeling of things forever changing can often result in anxiety, feeling overwhelmed and like things are completely out of your control.
Reaching out can be the toughest step for many and it can often be about timing, therefore please contact me via email to allow you 24 hours each day for you to reach out. I will respond as soon as I can usually within 7 days. If you would prefer to call you can do this leaving me a voicemail with a way to contact you and suitable times to contact you.
My first session
Once you have reached out to book some sessions I will arrange a time to call for an initial 15 - 30 minute phone call, this will give you opportunity to ask any questions you may have and for me to gather some information. This phone call will be free of charge.
During this call we will arrange sessions at a time that suits you that will occur the same time each week for 50 minutes at the cost of £50 which is to be paid 48 hours before each session.

Practice description
Sessions can either be in person within my own private counselling space, where there is easy parking right outside. Or if you would prefer we can do online video call sessions, or telephone calls.
In addition we can take our sessions out into nature and do some walk and talk therapy enjoying our natural surroundings. For many being outdoors with nature can help them to relax and feel more connected to the world around them. If this is something that interests you we can discuss during our first call.
