About me and my therapy practice
Hello, I'm Claire – a registered, highly experienced MÏã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¾«×¼×ÊÁÏ pluralistic counsellor and psychotherapist. With a first-class honours degree in counselling and psychotherapy and 15 years’ experience in the health and wellness industry, I run an inclusive private practice in Chiswick. I offer long-term and short-term confidential therapy sessions in person, online, or over the phone for individuals and couples.
With a wealth of experience supporting individuals through life’s varied challenges, I’m here to help you navigate whatever you may be facing.
I work with clients who may be experiencing a range of issues, including:
- Anxiety and depression
- Addiction and compulsive behaviours
- Trauma and relationship difficulties
- Workplace or family stress
- Bereavement and loss
- The impact of neglect or abuse
- Neurodiversity-related issues, including ADHD
- A sense of feeling unseen or misunderstood
I work with individuals and couples, offering a warm, inclusive, and confidential space tailored to your unique needs. My therapeutic approach is pluralistic and person-centred, meaning we’ll focus on what feels most relevant to you – whether that’s addressing immediate challenges or fostering long-term personal and relational growth. My aim is to help individuals and couples navigate complex emotions and situations, whether related to relationships, family dynamics, or the pressures of work.
I also bring a deep understanding of neurodiversity, especially ADHD, and am experienced in supporting clients through major life transitions, loss, and the lasting effects of difficult past experiences. When our own inner resources feel blocked or hard to access, a supportive therapeutic relationship can help reconnect with your strengths and resilience, empowering you to move forward in life.
Practice description
As a pluralistic therapist, I work with you in a way that honours your unique preferences and needs, whether you’re seeking support as an individual or a couple. Everyone’s journey is different, and our work together will reflect that. In our introductory session and throughout our time together, we’ll explore what approaches feel most supportive for you, adapting as we go.
My aim is to create a non-judgemental, safe, and confidential space where you feel encouraged to share your experiences - whatever they may be. Together, at a pace that feels right for you, we’ll explore the challenges you’re facing to foster insight, resilience, and a greater understanding of yourself and your relationships.
My first session
If any of what I’ve shared resonates with you, or if you’re feeling uncertain and seeking change but unsure where to begin, therapy can be a valuable first step.
To make that first step easier, I offer a complimentary 20-minute initial session, either online or on the phone, with no expectation or obligation to continue. I understand that seeking therapy is a significant step, and it’s important that it feels right for you.
In this first session, we’ll explore what’s brought you to therapy and what you’re currently experiencing. It’s a chance for us to get to know each other and for you to see if my approach feels comfortable and supportive. You’re welcome to ask any questions you may have, and together we can discuss what you hope to gain from our work.
