About me and my therapy practice
Hi, welcome to my page.
I am a multilingual Integrative Counsellor, trained at the Minster Centre. I see clients in person and online from Hackney, London.
I offer a warm, containing and confidential space for us to explore what is going on for you. In our sessions, I will be mostly listening to you and will be facilitating a space to process emotions and experiences. We will work together collaboratively to find ways for you to move forward in a different way.
As an Integrative counsellor, I take a holistic view of each client and work with their unique life story, patterns and ways of relating to themselves, others and the world around them.
The following theoretical orientations inform my thinking and how I work: Psychodynamic, Existential, Mindfulness, Attachment theory, Body Psychotherapy, Feminist Therapy. As a practitioner, I am acutely aware of my client’s social, political and cultural contexts and how this manifests in their lives. My practice is queer and trans affirmative.
Practice description
I have worked with issues such as: identity; trauma; anxiety; depression; domestic violence; relationship issues; feeling stuck; feeling lost; multilingualism; low self-esteem; multiculturalism; attachment trauma; exploring their gender and sexuality; neurodiversity; work issues; childhood sexual abuse; emotional abuse; narcissistic abuse; chronic health issues.
Finding a therapist that is right for you is important. This is why I would recommend that you get in touch with multiple therapists to choose who you feel most drawn and comfortable to work with.
Fees: My fee ranges from £70 to £85 (whatever you can manage within that). Unfortunately, all my low cost slots are currently taken. Do feel free to get in touch and ask in case this changes.
My first session
I offer an initial introductory session at the reduced fee of thirty pounds which will last fifty minutes. This will be an opportunity for me to find out more about you, what you are hoping for and whether I can help. It will also be a space for you to get a sense of me and to ask any questions about the process of therapy. This first session does not bind you and I encourage you to take a couple of days to decide whether this feels right for you.
If we decide to work together, we will agree on a day and time to meet weekly for fifty minutes.
I offer short and long term counselling in English and French to adults (18+).
What I can help with
Abuse, ADD / ADHD, Anxiety, Bereavement, Cultural issues, Depression, Health related issues, Identity issues, LGBTQ+ counselling, Loss, Men's issues, Neurodiversity, Redundancy, Relationships, Self esteem, Sex-related issues, Sexual identity, Sexuality, Spirituality, Stress, Trauma, Vegan allied, Women's issues, Work related issues
