About me and my therapy practice
I am a warm, genuine and accepting therapist who will support you in a safe and calm environment. I am an intuitive person, who builds trust gently and with ease.
Whatever is happening in your life, whether you are going through sadness, loss, identity issues, uncertainty, depression, indecision, trauma, work/relationship conflict, loneliness, health anxiety, feeling stuck or not enough -we can work alongside each other to enable growth.
I also work with those who are struggling with the often-debilitating impact of ADD/ADHD symptoms. I have a real and personal understanding of this condition and will help you explore your experience, making greater sense of the impact and feelings around belonging and identity.
Alongside my counselling role, I also work in the NHS as a wellbeing practitioner -supporting patients with long-term chronic health conditions, to improve their mental and physical wellbeing and health outcomes.
My Qualifications: MÏã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¾«×¼×ÊÁÏ (Reg), MA Counselling and Psychotherapy Practice, PG Dip Careers Guidance, BSc Hons Sociology & Psychology.
Practice description
I am a Person-Centred Therapist (appreciating your viewpoint, from your experience). I can also draw upon other therapies, such as CBT and emotion focusing.
You can read a brief outline about the types of therapy here: /about-therapy/types-of-therapy/person-centred-counselling/

I am a member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¾«×¼×ÊÁÏ). I adhere to strict ethical guidelines. I undertake personal supervision once a month. This ensures that my clients are getting the best possible care and support.
Counselling training took place at Age UK, Wirral - with the emotional health and wellbeing service. This allowed me to understand a diverse range of client's and their experiences, aged 18-70's+.
My placement at The Brain Charity Liverpool enriched my experience in working with people and their families living with neurological and neurodivergent conditions.
My first session
FREE 20–30-minute assessment/chat by phone offered without obligation to book a session:
Once you have contacted me via this website/email, we can arrange a convenient time for you to have an informal chat over the phone and discuss your issues. This will give you a good idea of whether you would like us to work together.
If you decide to move forward and book a first session- It will give us an opportunity to look at the reasons for why you are seeking counselling, put a brief counselling contract in place, discuss boundaries and confidentiality.
