About me and my therapy practice

I offer a welcoming and relaxed therapeutic atmosphere, in which we can comfortably discuss any issues you might be facing.


While the work is tailored to your individual needs, I often draw from the existential (big questions in life), the humanistic (relational experience of being a person) and the psychodynamic (how our mind interacts with itself/joining the past with the present). I also often work with body symptoms and use the mastery of that to overcome any difficult feelings.

Additionally, I may use Eastern philosophy and practices, and can offer an introduction to meditative techniques, or further guidance in this if you are already have a meditation practice but are facing challenges.

Finally, we can work with any dreams you might be having or use creative visualisations as a transformational tool.

Whatever your reason for seeking therapy, we'll approach things in a compassionate, optimistic spirit. We'll master any struggles you may be facing and allow the best parts of you to flourish and bloom.

Practice description

I am happy to work either on a very focussed short term basis (1-6 sessions) with possible extension, or a longer term open-ended arrangement.

Fees start at £65 per hour, though I may be able to offer concessionary rates for those facing genuine financial hardship.

I also offer high-level coaching and mentorship to professional writers and performers, with 20 years of experience in this field.

My first session

Our first session is an opportunity for you to decide whether you feel we can work well together. There is no obligation to continue at any time after this. The choice is always yours, though I encourage you to feedback about how the work is going together, whenever you feel the urge.
