About me and my therapy practice

Hi, I’m Marion and I am an experienced Integrative Counsellor. Choosing the right therapist for yourself or your young person can sometimes feel quite overwhelming. It is therefore helpful for me to tell you a little bit about myself and the therapy I offer.

I provide a client-led, warm and non-judgemental approach, working with both young people and adults. My ability to build authentic trusting relationships has been key to creating a safe and supportive therapeutic environment for my clients.

Practice description

At present, I deliver an online counselling service only.

Combining different therapeutic approaches such as person-centred, transactional analysis and DBT (dialectical behavioural therapy), I am fully qualified to support adolescents and adults.

You may be anxious, low in mood, or experiencing difficult thoughts. You may have been impacted by significant, traumatic or other life events, or want to explore yourself and your life experiences further. These are all areas we can explore together through the counselling process. I offer an inclusive practice, with a focus on neurodivergence. My practice is both neurodivergent and gender/sexuality diversity-affirming. I always encourage and welcome feedback from my clients.

Alongside my private online practice, I work as a counsellor within a specialist therapeutic service in Aylesbury. I also offer talking therapy at a secondary school, and work for a service offering therapeutic and practical support for neurodivergent individuals and families.

Before becoming a qualified counsellor, I worked for the NHS and privately as an Occupational Therapist. I believe this complements my inclusive and diverse therapeutic approach.

My first session

A free introductory 20 minute call is provided to explore your reasons for enquiring about counselling. I will aim to answer any questions you may have, and we can consider if I am the right therapist for you. Following on, I will send you a contract to read through, and sign, and we can arrange our first session.
