About me and my therapy practice

Are you feeling anxious, stressed, down, unmotivated? I understand that it can be difficult to know what to do next. I have experience of helping people make sense of these feelings, and find a path to improve their lives.

Whether you are feeling depressed, anxious, or struggling with traumatic events, it can sometimes feel like nobody understands, and there is no clear path forward. This can impact your life, and the lives of those you care about. I have worked with many people who feel like this, and there is a way forward.

Practice description

Everyone is an individual, which is why I chose to train in different styles of therapy, to understand what is going on for you, and together develop a plan to make things better.

I offer online sessions wherever you are based, and in-person sessions if you are located in the Oxfordshire or Buckinghamshire area (with off-street parking).

You’ve taken a big positive step by searching for a therapist. Take another small step, contact me using the form on the left hand side of this page. Or call me to arrange a free chat.

Alongside my main practice, I specialise in working with neurodiverse people, who can often find therapy stressful. Traits like stimming, masking, and hyperfocus can be misunderstood. If this resonates with you, contact me.

I am also passionate about mens mental health. Some men can be hesitant in reaching out for help, and can find the start of counselling frustrating. If you are a man looking for therapy, don’t be put off. I know from my own first hand experience, and extensive research during (and post) my training, that the benefits can be life changing. Reach out to me for a free, no obligation chat.

My first session

Our first session is really about getting an understanding and outline of what has brought you to therapy, the challenges you are facing, and what we might focus on. There is no pressure to disclose everything about yourself, we'll work at a comfortable pace for you.

I will outline how I and the process of therapy works, and answer any questions you may have.

The first session will give us a foundation to identify and work towards your goals.

Types of therapy

Gestalt, Humanistic, Integrative, Person centred, Relational, Transactional analysis

Clients I work with

Adults, Older adults, Trainees, Young people

How I deliver therapy

Long term sessions, Online therapy, Short term sessions, Telephone therapy
