About me and my therapy practice
Hi, welcome to my profile. I am a professionally qualified person-centred therapist and a registered member of the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¾«×¼×ÊÁÏ. I hold professional indemnity insurance and a current DBS certificate.
I recognise that deciding to embark on counselling can be a difficult and daunting decision. My aim is to offer a confidential space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings at a pace that feels right for you. I pride myself on my ability to build open, deep and trusting relationships with my clients and I tailor my work towards my client’s needs to bring about the best working relationship.
I work within a wide range of areas including depression, anxiety, stress, anger management, low self-esteem, and self-confidence to name but a few. I work with adults of all ages and couples, and I have extensive experience working with adolescents and vulnerable young people. In addition to working with clients who self-refer, I also receive referrals from other professionals.
I am passionate about the work I do and believe that individuals have the capacity to create fundamental change in their lives. Counselling gives you the opportunity to resolve conflict, process trauma and develop the tools you need to help you manage or overcome your difficulties.
I offer face to face and online therapy which can be short-, medium- or long-term dependent on the individual needs of the client. I also offer a free initial no obligation assessment. I will always aim to be flexible with appointment times. You will find me to be empathic, fair, trustworthy, and honest. I value each client and their uniqueness and look forward to meeting and working with you.
