About me and my therapy practice
You may be experiencing a range of difficult emotions, thoughts and feelings that are hard to make sense of. You may be stuck in an endless cycle of dissatisfying relationships or experiences, or you may be troubled by painful past memories and finding it difficult to cope in everyday life. I am trained to work with a wide range of experiences that can make you feel isolated and alone.
Through therapy, we can together understand and work through your pain. Therapy can help you lead a more fulfilling life by promoting positive change and increased personal growth. I hope to support you in your journey towards this.
It is important to remember that improving one's wellbeing by coming to therapy is a courageous step forward in your life. So, it is essential that you feel comfortable with the therapist you choose. My aim is to provide you with a safe and containing space in order for you to communicate your individual experiences. The therapeutic relationship we develop is the most significant aspect of our work together and can help us make sense of your inner world.
My approach is Psychodynamic Therapy which can be once or twice weekly.
Psychodynamic Therapy has been developed to work with a wide range of symptoms. The belief is that pain manifests in different ways for everyone, and that there is usually an underlying cause. Making sense of this can aid people to lead a more fulfilling life.
If you decide to go ahead with therapy, we can have an initial 15 minute phone call free of charge to discuss the process. You can call or email me to book a phone call. If I miss your call, you can leave me a voice message with your contact number and I will return your call.
